Booking terms

Host and accommodation

Your host is Trixi Wustlich, Unterer Mühlenweg 3, 79865 Grafenhausen. You are booking the entire Ferienhaus am Mühlenweg for a maximum of six guests. For bookings made through booking platforms, the terms agreed when making the respective booking apply.

Booking

Your booking confirmation sets out the dates booked, the number of guests, the accommodation price and payment information. Please include everyone travelling with you, including children and their ages on arrival.

Minimum stay

The minimum stay is three nights. In July and August, and from 18 December to 6 January, the minimum stay is five nights.

Included services and children

Bed linen, towels and final cleaning are included in the accommodation price. The garden, terrace, garage and washing machine are available at no extra charge. Children aged six and under stay free of charge; their age on arrival determines eligibility. The maximum occupancy of six people includes children. Separate age limits apply to the tourist tax.

Arrival, departure and house rules

Check-in is from 4 pm; please vacate the house by 10 am on your departure day. You will receive information about collecting the keys before arrival. The house is non-smoking. Pets, parties and additional visitors are not permitted. Please follow the house rules.

Payment

50% of the accommodation price is payable when booking. The balance is due 28 days before arrival. For bookings made within this period, the full accommodation price is due immediately: in the current online booking process, you initially pay 50%; you will receive a separate payment request with a payment link for the outstanding balance. Please pay this balance without delay as well.

Payments already recorded will be credited. The payment request does not trigger an automatic debit. If a payment has not yet been taken into account, please contact us before paying again. The payment methods offered at the time of booking apply.

No security deposit

No security deposit is required.

Tourist tax

Tourist tax is charged separately on site in accordance with the Grafenhausen municipal regulations applicable to your stay. It is not covered by the free accommodation for children; statutory exemptions and reductions will be taken into account.

Cancellation

Cancellation is free of charge up to and including 28 days before arrival. For cancellations between 27 and 7 days before arrival, inclusive, 80% of the agreed accommodation price will be charged, subject to the deductions and right to provide evidence described below.

For cancellations less than 7 days before arrival and for no-shows, there is no contractual entitlement to free cancellation. The agreed accommodation price generally remains payable. In the event of early departure, this applies to the unused remainder of the rental period. Expenses saved and income from renting the property to someone else will be deducted in all cases. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

You expressly retain the right to demonstrate that no loss, or a substantially lower loss than the cancellation charge claimed, has been incurred. Payments already made will be credited towards the amount then due; any surplus will be refunded.

Changing your booking

Up to and including 14 days before arrival, you may change your booking without a change fee, subject to availability of the requested alternative dates. We will agree the new dates and accommodation price with you. After that, if the existing booking is cancelled, the cancellation conditions above apply.

Contacting us

Please preferably notify us of cancellations or requests to change your booking by email to info@muehlenweg-schwarzwald.de. The date on which we receive your notification determines whether a deadline has been met.

No statutory right of withdrawal for bookings on specified dates

Under section 312g(2), no. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB), there is no statutory right of withdrawal for accommodation booked for a specific date or period. The cancellation options above and other statutory rights remain unaffected.
